About A.C.T
The ACT Programme is an alternative provision for young people struggling with emotional
issues and finding it difficult to attend mainstream school or college.
If you or someone you know is having difficulty fitting into mainstream school and feel they
could benefit from this programme, then please contact the Project or enquire through your
school, doctor or social worker. We provide a bespoke programme in a nurturing, family style environment that has a holistic approach tailored to meet the needs of the young person. Working at their own pace, the programme promotes confidence and self-esteem in our students and helps them develop a strong sense of self belief through increased social interaction improve communication skills and new life skills.
The main aim of the programme is to help young people achieve their full potential, supporting them back into mainstream school, college, apprenticeships, the workplace or to become active members of the community.

We deliver an accredited City and Guilds qualification, which is nationally recognised and is earned in employability and functional skills maths and english modules. We work in partnership with schools where appropriate and with other organisations to equip each individual with the help they need to broaden their horizons and have the best possible chance of success.
